We, as the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, have a duty and responsibility to go into the world and Baptize in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and to teach those baptized to observe all that Christ Himself taught.
Father Christopher Davis
Father Christopher Davis has served as parish priest at Saint John the Evangelist Antiochian Orthodox Church since 2000.
Father Seraphim Moslener
Fr Seraphim was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Thomas (Joseph) of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America on November 15, 2018, at the Cathedral of St. George in Oakland (Pittsburgh).
He served as Deacon at St. John the Evangelist Antiochian Orthodox Church for five years after having been ordained by His Grace Bishop John at the Antiochian Village on September 8, 2013. Shortly after his ordination to Deacon, Fr. Seraphim assisted Bp. John in developing a Pastoral Marriage and Family Counseling Program for clergy, which he also taught in the House of Studies at the Antiochian Village.
Fr. Seraphim taught Marriage and Family Counseling through Geneva College’s graduate program for 22 years, and served nearly 40 years as a Presbyterian (UPC) pastor in Beaver County prior to his conversion to the Orthodox Faith.
He is a licensed marriage and family therapist working part-time at Western PA Psych Care and currently serves as the part-time volunteer director of FOCUS West Central PA.
Fr. Seraphim continues to actively engage with his flock, and welcomes all new visitors looking to discover the Faith. He has been married 45 years, and has five adult children and seven grandchildren.
Saint John the Evangelist Orthodox Church falls under the jurisdiction of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. Our humble parish lies in the Diocese of Charleston, Oakland, and the Mid-Atlantic, under the spiritual leadership of His Grace Bishop Thomas (Joseph).
Saint John the Evangelist Orthodox Church is pan-Orthodox; our membership includes many traditional (or cradle) Orthodox, as well as many converts to Orthodoxy. Our choir uses English translations of music from the Byzantine and Slavic traditions, and all services are fully in English.
In addition to weekly services, we offer a full Lenten and Holy Week cycle of services, and services on all major feast days – see our calendar for details.
All are welcome to visit and attend any of our services!
We are located at 1501 Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Please join us and become part of God’s One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church!
